- which is run by a charity.
Funds raised go straight into supporting this charity. The Pottery Studio at Farmer Parrs is run by Autism Initiatives (registered charity no. 702632)
Autism Initiatives approached Farmer Parrs with the view of setting up a workshop, where adults with autism could develop their social and work skills in a friendly environment.

The work shop is one of the first in the country to be set up and has been a phenomenal success in the development of the students.
Students travel up to 30 miles to attend work on a daily basis.
The FRIENDSHIP APPEAL has been launched to raise £250,000 to extend the facilities to offer an opportunity for more people to attend and use this tremendous facility.
Children visiting the farm or attending a birthday party have the opportunity to paint pottery in the studio, often assisted by the students.
Groups and parties may book visits.
