Having diversified from a dairy farm over 10 years ago we have been pleased to welcome an increasing number of school trips year on year, so much so, that we have been able to continually refine this experience in response to school needs.
Each visiting school trip at Farmer Parr’s can expect to enjoy a ‘hands-on’ animal experience where we bring both traditional farm, exotic and rare breed animals face to face with the children. In addition, farm presentations can be tailored to your curriculum needs and time can also be spent in the ‘Fylde Country Life Heritage Museum’ based permanently here at the farm.

Additional information
We have hand sterilizing stations situated at regular intervals around the farm and we take the health and safety of visitors very seriously.
A safety talk is provided at the start of every visit.
We have also added a purpose built classroom facility to the farm site – for the exclusive use of our visiting groups and school trips. This is a large heated room with ample seating, also housing separate kitchen and bathroom facilities. Our attraction offers the highest standards of safety, having also gained status as a ‘Local Education Authority Approved Visitor Centre’.
These facilities are complimented by extensive grounds, a play area and also a pottery (run by Autism Initiatives) where we offer a ‘paint-a-pot’ facility for all ages. With three covered barns as well as the school room we hope to ensure an enjoyable visit whatever the weather.
If you would like to organise a small gift / souvenir for the children this can easily be arranged to suit your budget - just ask and we can organise it for you.
If you have any questions at all please give James Parr a call on 01253 874389.
