Baby Pygmy Goat Born - 7/7/10

Last week saw the birth of our latest addition, a beautiful baby pygmy goat. A visiting school group witnessed the birth and we have decided to call the New Kid on the Block 'Edward' after the school - St. Edwards!
This period of the year is traditionally our busiest time for school trips. In fact last Thursday we enjoyed the visit of over 300 children from two different schools - a record-breaking day on the farm!
We are currently busy preparing for the summer hols - and would like to say a big thank ewe to all the volunteers and work placement people who are helping us at this busy time of year.
