FAQ's
What to wear?
We advise suitable clothing for the weather conditions. However we have 2 large undercover barns plus the museum, pottery and cafe so there is plenty to do in bad weather.
Put on plenty of jumpers in winter months so you can fully enjoy your visit.
Most of the farm is paved so wellington boots are not essential but maybe useful. We do recommend wearing sensible shoes at all times.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed around the farm site (with the exception of assistance dogs). Dogs are only allowed in the picnic area just inside the entrance but must be kept on leads.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Switch & Maestros as well as cash.
There is a 50p charge for card payments of less than £12.
Are we allowed to re-enter the Farm Park?
You are allowed to come in and out during the day of your visit – simply show your sticker upon re-entry.
How long does it take to go round?
We advise allowing at least half a day for your visit and recommend arriving before 1.30pm - in order to make the most of your visit.
Do groups need to pre-book?
There is no need for family groups to pre-book, although all school / large groups should ring in advance to arrange their visit.
